A mounted riding lesson
A groundwork session
A horsemanship & theory lesson or class

4. Scheduling and Attendance Policies
4.1 Dedicated Lesson Time
Each student will have a designated lesson day and time, a suitable school horse, and a group of riders with similar abilities. Forecast Farms Inc. operates on a structured schedule with scheduled weeks on and off throughout the year to ensure quality instruction, horse care, and opportunities for competition. Commitment to your scheduled lesson time is essential to maximize the value of this program.
4.2 Stable Costs and No-Refund Policy
Stable costs—including horse care, instructor time, and facility maintenance—remain fixed regardless of attendance. As such, tuition is due in full even if a lesson is missed, and no refunds will be provided. This policy allows us to maintain a high-quality program and support the resources needed for your riding experience.
4.3 Rescheduling And Make-Up Lessons
Due to scheduling constraints, make-up lessons are limited and available only to students in the twice-a-week Riding Academy program. In months with five weeks, the additional lesson day will be scheduled as part of the annual program, available to students who attend. To qualify for a make-up lesson, cancellations must be made with 48 hours' notice. Due to the complexities of scheduling , make-ups are not guaranteed. Rescheduling a lesson is treated the same as canceling a lesson. Reserving your time slot prevents others from booking that time, which is why our cancellation policy applies to all rescheduling requests. If you need to reschedule, you must provide 48 hours' notice to be eligible for a potential make-up lesson, subject to availability.
4.4 Weather and Alternative Lessons
In the event of inclement weather, unmounted horsemanship lessons will be provided to ensure continuous learning.
4.5 Long-Term Schedule Changes
Clients may request a permanent change in their designated lesson time once every 90 days with written notice. For minor adjustments, lesson times may be rescheduled up to three times within a 90-day period by texting (540) 274-1541
5. Changes to Rules and Policies
Forecast Farms reserves the right to amend or modify rules, policies, and regulations at its sole discretion without prior consultation. Changes will be communicated to Clients as necessary.
6. Cancellation Policy
Either party may cancel this Agreement with 60 days’ written notice before the end of the billing cycle. To cancel, please email Denise@ForecastFarms.com
7. Additional Services and Charges
Any additional services requested by the Client outside this Agreement will be automatically charged to the credit or debit card on file at the time of service.
8. Performance Disclaimer
Forecast Farms Inc. makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, as success in the riding program depends on the Client’s effort, engagement, and commitment.
9. Media Release
Forecast Farms Inc. reserves the right to record, videotape, or photograph students for promotional purposes. By signing this Agreement, you consent to the use of these materials in our marketing and advertising efforts.
10. Release of Liability

By signing this Agreement, the Client acknowledges and assumes all risks of injury, death, and property damage and releases Forecast Farms Inc., its owners, employees, and agents from any liability for injuries or losses occurring at 2497 Atoka Rd, Marshall, VA 20115, including risks related to instruction and supervision.
