Our Horses and Ponies

Flash (left), an off the track TB (OTTB), has been at Forecast Farms for a few years learning to be a show hunter.

Princess Audrey (right), a favorite with our young riders, is a Welsh pony cross. She is 12.2 hds tall (small pony) 14 yrs old, and a mare. Denise purchased her as a 2 year old. She has done many local and recognized horse shows. Her favorite treats are sugar cubes.

More Schoolmasters:

Herman – a TB with local horse show and foxhunting experience.  He is quiet enough for the novice riders and fun for the more advanced riders.

Freddy –  a Welsh/Quarter horse cross, large pony.  He is a favorite among the children and adults.  Freddy has local horse show and pony club experience.

Remi –  a TB/Percheron cross.  Big, quiet and tons of fun to ride.  He takes care of the beginners and gives the advanced riders a chance to work on their dressage.

Chief –  our favorite lesson pony (below).  He is a Pony Of America standing at 13.0 hds (medium pony).  His youngest students are 2 years old!
